Unexpectedly windy for the time of year (I hadn't even taken any of my own windsurfing kit on this hol!).

Rented a JP Freestyle Wave 78 + NP Combat Wave 4.7m for a few hours in the late afternoon from the Rene Egli Pro Centre II.

The waves seem to form pretty well alongside the sand bar at mid tide, giving some good jumps on the way out & frontside rides on the way back in.

However, with the (very gusty) wind almost dead offshore, jumps can be hazardous, and the drop off the lip points you dead into wind!!

Never had one of these freestyle-wave thingys. Think I prefer a pure wave board as the back end kept sliding off on the lip.

All good fun.
